Episode 1 of the Saga Completed a quarter of a Century.

Star Wars: For its 25th anniversary, The Phantom Menace is being re-released in theatres. The first episode of the Space Opera series was a huge sensation when it debuted in theatres in 1999. George Lucas, the man of Star Wars, wrote and directed it. It will start showings again on May 3, 2024. The film introduces the world to young Anakin Skywalker, who is found by Qui-Gon Jinn, who believes he is the "Chosen One" who would restore balance to the force.

A Treat to the Fan Community

The film will be re-released a day before May 4, which is Star Wars Day, adding a new dimension to the celebration of the Galaxy Far, Far Away. We appear to have "The Force" on our side.

Disney has revealed that the first unique footage of the new Disney+ series "The Acolyte" will be included in the re-release of The Phantom Menace to optimize the treatment.

In addition, a marathon movie run fan event will feature all nine Skywalker Saga films in theatres. Purchase your tickets to join in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
