The Durindfire crystal is the main crystal known to produce a lightsaber blade with a silver hue. The planet Tatooine is home to this uncommon crystal, which gives lightsabers their distinctive and eye-catching silver color.
Other uncommon kyber crystals and special situations in Star Wars Legends can also produce a silver blade, in addition to the Durindfire crystal. But the most prominent and well-researched case is Durindfire.
Obtaining a Silver Lightsaber With The Durindfire Crystal
By obtaining the Durindfire gem, which is exclusive to the planet Tatooine, one can get a silver lightsaber.
A rare and valuable crystal known as the Durindfire gave a lightsaber blade a silver or white glow.
Unlike other crystals, contemporary Jedi more frequently utilized the DurindFire than ancient ones, and its peculiar silver hue startled most Jedi and Sith.
The Durindfire gem's unique attribute was its excellent energy absorption, including blaster gem and Force lightning. Because of this, lightsabers equipped with Durindfire diamonds were very hazardous when used against Force lightning adversaries.

Who Has a Silver Lightsaber in Star Wars?
The only characters in the Star Wars universe with silver lightsabers are Ry-Gaul, Tionne Solusar, Alema Rar, Imperial Knights, Corran Horn, Nejaa Halcyon, Keiran Halcyon, and Maulkiller.
1. Corran Horn
Who is Corran Horn?
Originating from the planet Corellia, Corran Horn was employed by the Corellian Security Force as a pilot and investigator. Later, he developed into a superb starfighter pilot, referred to as "an "a "e," with the Republic's Rogue Squadron. He went on to become a significant hero for the New Republic. Corran Horn went on to join the New Jedi Order as a Jedi Master.
Corran Horn's Silver Lightsaber
On the planet Courkrus, about 11 ABY, Corran Horn constructed his own silver lightsaber out of salvaged pieces from a shipwreck. He used the Durindfire crystal for the main crystal and used gems from his room's decor to add an emerald and a diamond as focusing crystals.
It took roughly two days to complete, and the design was inspired by his grandfather Rostek Horn's secret instructions in columns. It was a dual-phase lightsaber with a three-meter blade length that could be extended by twisting it to align its second set of crystals.
2. Nejaa Halcyon
Who is Nejaa Halcyon?
Nejaa Halcyon, a native of Corellia, was a Jedi Master in both the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order. He served as a general in the Republic's Grand Army during the Clone Wars. Nejaa Halcyon was killed toward the conclusion of the conflict by the Dark Acolyte Nikkos Tyris. To conceal their identities from the Galactic Empire Halcyon's family continued to exist even after the Republic died and the Jedi were disbanded—his wife Scerra, married Halcyon's friend Rostek Horn, adopted his last name.
When Nejaa Halcyon was discovered to be force-sensitive at a very young age, he was sent to Coruscant to receive Jedi Order training as a novice and make a silver lightsaber for himself.
Nejaa Halcyon's Silver Lightsaber
One of Nejaa Halcyon's weapons was a silver lightsaber. Under normal conditions, Nejaa Halcyon, like all Jedi from the Halcyon line, was not very good at using telekinesis. But he was unique in that he could absorb energy from objects like lightsaber blades or blaster bolts. He could perform telekinetic actions like other Jedi by employing this absorbed energy, as demonstrated by his use of Force Crush to destroy a dark Jedi. Additionally, Halcyon was highly skilled at manipulating the Force to project his thoughts.
3. Keiran Halcyon
Who is Keiran Halcyon?
Born on the planet Corellia, Keiran Halcyon was a Jedi Knight who served both the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order. He lived around 400 years before the Galactic Empire took control and the Great Jedi Purge started.
Keiran Halcyon was admitted to the Jedi training academy after it was discovered that he was Force sensitive. The Jedi High Council declared him a Jedi Knight after he passed his final exams. In order to become a Jedi Guardian, Halcyon decided to pursue solo education.
He was a well-known Jedi from Corellia who went on a number of missions to defend his home planet system. In the year 380 BBY, he was instrumental in putting an end to the perilous Selonian Afarathu cult.
Keiran Halcyon's Silver Lightsaber
In order to give his lightsaber its distinctive silver hue, Halcyon used a Durindfire gem in its construction. He also employed ancient Jedi methods from the Jedi Temple archives to create a blade that could reach a length of three meters.
Despite having a powerful Force, the Halcyon family lacked proficiency in telekinesis, one of the most prevalent Jedi skills. Rather than letting this hold them back, Halcyon Jedi concentrated on strengthening their mental advantages in areas where other Jedi might be less intense. For instance, Keiran Halcyon possessed the ability to absorb energy, which gave him multiple forms of power.
4. Alema Rar
Who is Alema Rar?
Due to her challenging past and internal conflict, Alema Rar, a female Rutian Twi'lek Jedi Knight, defected to the dark side while serving the New Jedi Order. Jedi Knigth Daeshara'cor saved her and her sister Numa after being born into poverty and forced into slavery as dancers on Ryloth. They then received training on Yavin 4.

Alema participated in significant battles during the war after becoming a Jedi Knight, but Sith Master Lomi Plo used her grief and rage to seduce her, causing her to embrace the dark side as Gorog's Night Herald fully.
After the Swarm War, she was thought to be dead, but during the Second Galactic Civil War, she reappeared to exact revenge on the Sky-walkers and Solos. Jagged Fel Lumiya's retreat assassinated her after she attempted to form alliances and use Sith's powers failed.
Alema Rar's Silver Lightsaber
Alema Rar used a number of lightsabers during her thirty years. She used an Adegan crystal to make her first lightsaber, which had a silver blade. She and her sister had to give up their lightsabers during a flight from the Yuuzhan Vong, but they retained the crystals as jewelry. She created another silver lightsaber during the conflict.
She wielded this lightsaber against her foes after succumbing to the dark side, but Luke Skywalker took it away from her and gave the hilt back to her after destroying the crystal. Alema later made a new blue lightsaber.
5. Imperial Knights
Who Are The Imperial Knights?
When the Fel dynasty ruled the Galactic Empire, the Imperial Knights—also referred to as the Knights of the Empire or Imperial Jedi—were Force Users who were devoted to the Emperor. Unlike previous Imperial Force groups, they shunned the dark side and were schooled entirely in the Force.
They didn't strictly adhere to the light side, but they didn't follow the dark side. The Imperial Knights viewed the Jedi as family, whereas the New Jedi Order viewed them as Gray.
As representatives of the Force, the Imperial Knights swore allegiance to the Emperor. Emperor Roan Fel led the troop and was a fully-trained Imperial Knight by 130 ABY.
It was the Imperil Knights responsibility to either bring the Emperor back to the light or remove him from power, even if it meant murdering him if he ever veered to the dark side. In the end, they were devoted to the Force.
The Imperial Knights fled the capital with their Emperor and joined Darth Krayt's Empire-in-exile after he seized power in 130 ABY.
By 137 ABY, Emperor Roan Fel frequently dispatched Imperial Knights to establish agreements with the Jedi Order and the Galactic Federation of Free Agreements. On planets like Vendaxa, Mon Calamari, and Had Abbadon, they frequently engaged Darth Krayt's soldiers in combat on the front lines of the Second Imperial Civil War.
The Imperial Knight Lightsaber
Every Imperial Knight carried a white-silver lightsaber. Their unity and the Empire's authority over each Knight were demonstrated by the design. Unless otherwise specified, the lightsaber's slanted emitter created a white-silver blade, and its gray, tube-shaped handle had black ridges.
During training, each Knight created their lightsaber using artificial crystals and methods from Emper Palpatine's Book of Anger. The Knights primary responsibility was to protect their lord, and one of their weapons for doing so was the lightsaber, which could be used both on land and underwater.

On the planet Vendaxa early in 137 ABY, Imperial Knights Antares Draco, Ganner Krieg, and Marasiah Fel engaged Darth Krayt's Sith with lightsabers. Former Jedi turned bounty hunter Cade Skywalker used Marasiah's lightsaber to strike the Sith during this conflict. His journey back to the Jedi Way began with this.
Sith were vanquished on Taivas and Coruscant, while Imperial Knights engaged Krayt's army on planets such as Bastion, Dac, and Had Abbadon during the following year. Roan Fel attempted to wipe out all life on the planet with a bioweapon during the conflict on Coruscant. Draco used his white lightsaber to kill Fel to prevent the Emperor from carrying out a sinister deed.
6. Ry-Gaul
Who is Ry-Gaul?
For the Jedi Order at the end of the Galactic Republic, Ry-Gaul was a human Jedi Master. He participated in the Clone Wars as a Senior General in the Republic's army, where he faced off against the Separatist Droid Army. Following the dissolution of the Jedi Order and the Republic's transformation into the Galactic Empire, Ry-Gaul fled into hiding. He was ultimately slain during the Great Purge of Jedi.

7. Tionne Solusar

From the planet Rindao, Tionne Solusar was a female Jedi Master who was Near-Human. She was among the first pupils in Luke Skywalker's New Jedi Order and studied the history of the Jedi.

Tionne Solusar spent nearly a year searching for the spiral mist horn and crystal pearl to construct her silver lightsaber after enrolling in Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy. She was one of the original members of the New Jedi Order and used conventional Jedi methods to make her weapon.
Among her many missions, Tionne utilized her silver lightsaber, most notably when she and other Jedi went to Bast Castle and took Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsaber back. In addition, she was hurt defending her fellow Jedi and retrieving stolen relics during a fight with a fake Force user named Orloc at Exis Station.
8. Maulkiller
Who is Maulkiller?
The Zabrak Sith apprentice Darth Maul genes were combined with those of the deceased human Galen Marek to create Maulkiller, a clone created by Darth Vader on the planet Kamino.
The clone was characterized by black tattoos, silver skin, and gold eyes. Due to genetic differences between Maul and Marek, the clone became unstable mentally and physically, which ultimately led to his demise shortly after creation.
In Maulkiller, Amy Beth Christenson created the artwork. When the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions of the video game "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed "II" were pre-ordered from GameStop in 2010, Maulkiller was included as an extra avatar Maulkiller's Silver Lightsabers.
Maulkiller's silver lightsabers were only available if you preordered the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 version of "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II," which was only available from GameStop.
