Star Wars: The Acolyte Reveals Origins of Osha and Mae
The narrative of The Acolyte is revealed by the association between the birth of Osha Aniseya, her twin sister Mae, and Sith Lord Darth Plagueis the Wise.
The third episode provides insight into the sisters and describes their unconventional beginnings. It claims that Osha and Mae believed to have been born to one of Brendock's Force-using witches, results from Darth Plagueis' enigmatic abilities.
Much of the episode is devoted to the Witches of Brendok, particularly Mother Aniseya. They attempt to conceal their activity while living in exile in terror and suspicion.
We witness the Jedi discovering Osha and Mae in the coven compound. The coven is ultimately destroyed, and Osha departs with the Jedi.
The twins' origins are extensively discussed in the episode, although their father is not mentioned.
The most recent episode dispels long-held beliefs regarding the birth of Anakin Skywalker, aside from Osha and Mae. The chosen one's birth has nothing to do with the Sith Lords; Shmi Skywalker conceived them.
On June 4, Star Wars: The Acolyte made its Disney+ debut.
