Who's the Mysteriously Masked Sith-Lord in 'The Acolyte'
Fan hypotheses have been swirling about the identity of the masked figure brandishing a red lightsaber and speaking to Mae in a distorted voice since the premiere of The Acolyte yesterday, June 4.
Only once in the first two episodes does this evil ruler appear, seemingly meeting Mae on a secluded beach on an unidentified planet.
Who Is The Sith?
It's hard to tell who the Sith Master hiding behind the mask is just by looking at him.
Over time, the new Sith's identity and goals will undoubtedly become clear. If you haven't already done so, look at the master.
What Does The Sith Want?
The Sith master has given Mae the mission to murder four Jedi. These Jedi were there when a fire destroyed Mae's family's home planet. Mae discovered that her twin sister Osha was still alive, even though she had assumed that she had also perished in the fire.
"The Jedi live in a dream, a dream they believe everyone shares," the Sith Lord states when he meets Mae. "You will fail if you attack a Jedi with a weapon; steel or laser is no threat to them, but an acolyte kills without a weapon." An acolyte kills the dream.
Even Mae is unaware of this Sith's identity, which is a fascinating twist.
